Welcome to the online version of the Foldout Cat’s flagship offering: our one-of-a-kind Batt Buffet, source of the famous custom CatBatts! Choose wool, silk, sparkle, and other delightful fibery add-ins, and we'll card a batt to order for you or package up your choices for you to spin, felt, or otherwise fibercraft with in the comfort of your own home.

You’ll get to choose among lots of lovely ingredients, including:

• commercially dyed Merino wool in 70+ colors (the basis for every batt)

• commercially dyed bamboo in various colors

• bits and pieces of other wools and wool blends (available colors and textures will change constantly - fun for random beauty!)

• undyed and multicolor dyed firestar (trilobal nylon - sheeny and shiny)

• mixed-color sari-silk threads (recycled threads from the weaving of sari fabric)

• brightly colored sari-silk roving (short-staple recycled fiber from the weaving of sari fabric - adds pops of color and lovely texture)

• hand-dyed locks and woolly floof (that’s a technical term, y’all)

• hand-dyed nepps (felted wool bits) and burrs (softly fulled ditto)

• scraps of yarn and fiber (for the adventurous among us!)

• natural and dyed cotton

• undyed and commercially dyed regular silk

You’ll also pick between two different sizes: two ounces ($28) and four ounces ($42), plus flat $6 domestic US shipping for a single item. (If you want more than one and/or need to ship elsewhere, we’ll happily work that out with you.)

All those fibery choices are more than our online store can handle, so we’ve come up with two alternative ordering options just for you CatBatt enthusiasts:

1. Email Q, the Chief Feline and Primary Carder of CatBatts, and ask to have a batt created for you. She’ll respond ASAP with more info on the ingredients she’s got available; you’ll pick from the list; she’ll card and ship (or hold for pickup at an in-person event). It’s that easy!

2. Order a gift certificate you can exchange for a custom CatBatt at any of Q’s 2025 in-person shows and events.
